Organizing Services, our client had recently moved into a new home. With her growing business and two teen-age daughters she didn’t have time to devote to organizing her pantry. The result, she had no desire to cook for her family. Her pantry was not only in desperate need of space design and defined storage solutions; it needed to be aesthetically welcoming and highly functional.

SolutionsForYou professional organizer came in with a plan to brighten up the pantry with a light paint color and give the pantry a welcoming view - a new wine / coffee bar. We also defined zones for each type of food; canned goods are in the “prime real estate area” easy to see and not up high where they could fall and hurt someone. Bulk foods are stored in clear containers making it easy to see the contents without labeling. Fresh foods are stored in attractive bowls and baskets creating an open market feel.

Organizing Services, to look at the area from its entry you would not guess it is a walk-in pantry. The open shelves to each side of the wine / coffee bar are stocked attractively with canned, packaged and fresh foods, stored by type, making accessing ingredients for cooking a snap. The result, our client remarks, “We love just hanging out in the pantry brewing coffee or sipping wine, it’s a very welcoming spot in our home now. It is so much fun to cook now, too!”
