Home Office and Meditation Haven - A Shared Space Redefined

Before SolutionsForYou, Inc. Organizing Services, half of the client’s attic space was filled with years of paper, computer peripherals and memorabilia. The other half of the space was designed for the client to relax, meditate and practice yoga--but the chaos at the other end of the room did not create a relaxing view!

SolutionsForYou came in and sorted through the years of paper. We designed a user-friendly filing system where our client can easily retrieve a filed document, removing the fear that many people have of filing - not being able to find something once it is filed. In place of the client’s previous paper management system (bags and boxes) we created a system for our client to keep “active” papers before she is ready to process them including action, enter, discuss, refer, read, and file. Now our client can quickly sort her incoming mail and papers into a system that she can later easily find what she needs when she is ready to process her papers. We designed a zone specifically for our client’s office supplies and one for her computer peripherals.  Lastly, we sorted and stored our client’s memorabilia in acid-free boxes until she decides if she wants to store it in photo albums, or a different archival solution.

After SolutionsForYou, Inc. Organizing Services, the meditation zone has a view of clarity, creating a clearer mind to focus on what is truly important - relaxing!!
