About Us

AnneAnne Blumer is the owner and founder of SolutionsForYou, Inc., a Portland, Oregon based company, offering professional organizing services to corporate, home-based business, residential and small business clients and offering training programs for professional organizers.

Anne is among the inaugural 200 Professional Organizers in the world to receive the Certified Professional Organizer CPO® Designation from the Board of Certified Professional Organizers (BCPO). Additionally, Anne holds a certificate of training from the Coach Approach for Organizers™ and from the NSGCD a Level II ADD Specialist Certificate (Graduates at this level have completed approximately 65 hours of study and passed the ADD Exam in addition to having earned their CD Specialist designation.), Level II Chronic Disorganization Specialist Certificate (Graduates at this level have completed approximately 25 hours of study and passed the General Exam), Certificate of Study in Learning Styles and Modalities, Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization, Certificate of Study in Basic ADD Issues With the CD Client, and Certificate of Study in CD Client Administration. Anne is a certified Freedom Filer™ consultant and certified GO System Trainer and Consultant.

After 13 years as a Work-Life Benefits Manager for a high technology company and 17 additional years of administrative and managerial positions, Anne launched her career in the Professional Organizer field.

“I became a Professional Organizer because I discovered that what I loved about all the jobs I previously held was organizing my work environment, projects and tasks. I also loved helping and teaching my fellow co-workers how to organize their workspace, tasks and schedule. I feel very fortunate to say, I love what I do!”

With her years of managerial experience, she understands the organizational skills needed to be a professional in today’s competitive business place. As a mother of two children, she also knows first hand what it takes to organize a busy family and keep a household running smoothly. With this understanding, Anne teaches her clients how to achieve work-life balance through organization.

Anne is a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the Oregon chapter of NAPO. As a leader in the professional organizing industry, Anne has served on the NAPO Oregon Board since 2003 and a chapter Past President. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Marylhurst University in Oregon. Anne enjoys speaking to a variety of audiences on the benefits of organizing. She is an active volunteer in her children’s schools passionately teaching students organizational skills. Anne is the author of Get Rich Organizing.

Through SolutionsForYou Professional Organizer Training Institute™ Anne has trained hundreds of participants. Anne has extensive experience developing training materials and training professionals in the areas of small business administration and management, employee benefits, information systems, and mergers and acquisitions. Her experience as a business owner and founder of SolutionsForYou, Inc.
